Affects on Partial Acquisitions

Postby dr_tierra-row on Mon Aug 10, 2009 10:20 am

I am looking for examples of cities, counties or states that have created special considerations for sites that need to reconfigured after a partial taking by a public agency.
Examples of possible special considerations could include:

• Zoning code – special procedures; special or modified standards or provisions (parking, landscaping, signs)
• Building codes – special procedures; special or modified standards or provisions
• Plan review – special procedures or consideration
• Staffing - special staff or work groups to handle development plan review or other public tasks for a partial taking site.

I would like to get the name of the jurisdiction and the type of action(s) they have taken to address the reconfiguration of partial taking sites. If you can direct me to a contact person or web-based resource, I would appreciate it.
