Hello,

Has anyone had much exposure to or been involved in a project utilizing survey-grade positioning (i.e. +/- 2 cm) with attribute-rich GIS data? I would like to hear of any projects and/or experiences you may have to share involving the mating of these technologies.

My company uses Trimble survey grade equipment with controllers set up to handle GIS attributes. We have set up several custom coding situations for different types of data acquisition projects. Some of these included pipeline asbuilts, manhole asbuilts, sidewalk inventories, etc. Let me know if you have questions.
